BETHESDA, MD 07 July 2010—There is an important correction to the monograph for Piperacillin Sodium–Tazobactam Sodium in Pediatric Injectable Drugs, Ninth Edition (the Teddy Bear Book), published by ASHP.
On page 473, the Continuous Infusion section should read as follows:
Continuous infusions of 8-12 g piperacillin/24 h have been studied in adults
Please make this correction immediately in all copies of the ninth edition and communicate it to everyone who may use the book.
